Transition Mentor Application

Apply to become a Transition Mentor!

Submit your completed application packet in two steps. Paper copies of the application are available in Student Success located in Neff Hall, room 115. Applications need to completed and turned in no later than 11:59 p.m. on November 26. If submitting in person, be sure to turn it in by 5 p.m. on November 22.

Complete the data form and submit essays online. You may choose to submit a short video (up to 3 minutes) response to the first question to first.year@wichita.edu. Videos are NOT required – a type written response is fine, which can be submitted with your other online or paper materials.
Provide a resume to first.year@wichita.edu. We encourage you to visit the Shocker Career Accelerator for information on developing a resume if you need assistance. Provide two references on your resume. These may be from your academic advisor, faculty members, community leaders or others. At least one of your references must be someone from Wichita State. Family members will not be considered.
