Calling all first-year students! The Office of First-Year Programs in Student Success, Campus Activities and Recreation, and the Office of Disability Services will host the Majors Amazing Race on Friday, April 22, 2022 starting at 4pm. This inaugural event is designed to celebrate all first-year students from Fall 2021 and Spring 2022, and give you the chance to show your college pride!
Team up with your peers, or come by yourself, to this campus-wide live scavenger hunt and race to the finish to attend a party at the Heskett Center. Food, music, and giveaways will be provided to all who attend. Take part in this new Wichita State spirit event to celebrate YOU!
Schedule
3:30 p.m. Check-in at front of Shocker Hall opens
4 p.m. Campus-wide scavenger hunt begins
5 p.m. Race to the finish for a party at the Heskett Center!
Registration
A link to reserve your spot will be sent out to all degree-bound first-year students in your WSU email. Please place your reservation by April 20, 2022 to participate.
Declared or non-declared first-year Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 students are all welcome to attend! Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20. All RSVP'ed students, please check your WSU email for event confirmation. Please bring your Shocker ID card for check-in.
Please wear comfortable shoes and attire, as you will be moving all over campus for the scavenger hunt. All registered students will receive a reminder email three (3) days before the event. Please call the Office of First-Year Programs at 316-978-5420 if you need to make any changes to your RSVP.
