New Shocker Steps
Step 1: Create your myWSU password and OneStop security question.
Go to mywsu.wichita.edu and click on “Manage your password.” After setting up your password, login to your myWSU account and click on “Manage your password” in the upper-left corner of your home tab to set up your security and OneStop questions.
Step 2: Submit housing contract or exemption and watch for an email regarding room selection.
Transfer and returning adult students do not usually have a housing requirement, but it is suggested that you check out the Housing and Residence Life website to be sure.
Step 3: Check your Shocker student email.
Additional Orientation and enrollment information will be sent to your student email account.
Step 4: Place your reservation for Orientation and complete the Enrollment Questionnaire (included in the Orientation reservation system).
For students starting classes in the summer or fall semesters, this process will open on March 1. For students who start classes in the spring (January), this process will open in November.
New transfer and returning adult students will only need to place their Orientation reservation.
Step 5:
NEW FRESHMEN:
Accept or request changes to your schedule with your First-Year Advisor. Look for an email indicating your classes have been scheduled and either accept or request changes from your student portal (myWSU).
NEW TRANSFER AND RETURNING ADULT STUDENTS:
Schedule an advising appointment directly by phone or email with your advisor.
