An Overview of Mandatory Student Support Fees

Did you know that your representatives on the Student Government Association (SGA) provides oversight and management to the Student Support Fees and provides advice regarding Univerisity Fees and Tuition that are charged to all students enrolled at Wichtia State Univeristy?

The Student Support Fees (formally known as the Student Activity Fee) supports a variety of non-instructional student service activities, including services at the Heskett Center, Counseling and Prevention Services, Student Health Services, the Student Government Association, the Rhatigan Student Center, Student Involvement, the Sunflower, and many more organizations and departments, all of which provide extracurricular benefits and services for students.

Because the Student Services budget is supported through a three-tiered semester fee, the document linked below depicts fee based on the Tier 1 - base rate for Fall/Spring.  Based on the three potential tiers, the rate paid by a student is dependent on the type of student (undergraduate/graduate), number of enrolled credit hours, and in which semester classes are taken. For summer session, fees are half of the Fall/Spring rate.
