Wichita, KS- Former Senator Mary Elizabeth Thornton has been sworn in as Student Body Vice President for the 65th Session, effective at 3:00PM October 19th, 2022. With her inauguration, Thornton has stepped down from her position with the Office of Student Affairs to be able to commit more time to Student Government.
Commenting on what she was looking forward to in the upcoming months, Thornton stated:
"I am most excited about the opportunity to work with this office, and push forward on the many initiatives President Kirk and the Senate want to work on."
