Academic Grade Appeals

The Student Advocate is available to assist students who feel they have been treated unfairly in grading. The academic appeal procedure is available for all students and should be filed within one (1) semester of the grade or incident.

Academic Integrity Cases

Students who have been accused of cheating, plagiarism or other academic misconduct and want to contest the allegation should contact the Dean of the faculty member's School or College.

You may appeal a parking ticket within twenty (20) calendar days. The Student Advocate is available to help you prepare your appeal and guide you through the appeal process should you need assistance with the process.

Sexual Misconduct and Discrimination 

If you have a concern include anything regarding sexual misconduct, or discrimination based on the protected classes (sex, age, gender, sexuality, religion, nation of origin, etc.), we can assit you in that process

Student Conduct Cases and/or Appeals

The Student Advocate is available to assist students who feel they have been treated unfairly in a Student Conduct Case. Students may also use the Student Advocate to assit in filing appeals to Conduct cases

Utlizing the Supreme Court

The Student Advocate is available to assist students to utlize the final appellate power of the Supreme Court for cases involving Parking, Traffic and Library issues. The Court has the power to hear appeals from Traffic Court, Parking Appeals, and Library Court of Appeals and shall render final decisions in these cases.
