May 14, 2020 -- Kayla Deines has spent her fair share of time in college but it's allowed her to pursue a path she's passionate about. Skilled in marketing, communications and design, Kayla hopes to land a communication job in higher education.

May 13, 2020 - Claudia Rojo graduates this spring and will begin a graduate research assistantship at the National Institute for Aviation Research while finishing her final season of outdoor track eligibility in 2021. Rojo, like all seniors in spring sports, was granted the option to extend their eligibility after the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled spring sports. In 2019, she finished second in the heptathlon in the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.

May 7, 2020 -- Wichita State University is proud to recognize Irene Campos as the winner of the 2020 Mark and Stacy Parkinson Scholarship.

May 7, 2020 -- Jade Mursch, a first-generation student, chose Wichita State to be close to family and the affordability. Feb. 5, 2019 -- Bryant Lewis from Olathe Kansas received the Linwood Sexton Endowed Scholarship in 2019. The full-ride scholarship allowed him to pursue his dream of attending WSU.

Feb. 4, 2020 - Three Wichita State bowlers earned a spot on Junior Team USA, an honor that carries a boost of confidence and the thrill of representing their country. T.J. Rock, Alec Keplinger and Briley Haugh will attend training camp this summer in Arlington, Texas.

Jan. 23, 2020 - Wichita State graduate Marcus Wright used his applied learning experiences at the student newspaper and with the athletic department to start his career in digital media. After a season with MLB Advanced Media, he returned to Wichita State and works on photo and video for the athletic department.
