July 30, 2019 -- Wichita State University and Textron Aviation, a Textron Inc. company, have announced the next step in ongoing collaboration efforts to develop the future of the aviation industry and next generation of employees when the company signed a long-term lease at the Wichita State Innovation Campus.

July 24, 2019 -- It’s easy to take the free t-shirts, halftime performances and musical chairs on the Charles Koch Arena basketball court for granted. But, during every Shocker Athletics game, a team of student marketing and game operations interns follows a carefully choreographed plan to make sure fans have a good time in between each play.

July 18, 2019 -- Five place-making projects, ranging from the Clinton Hall steps to the Ablah Library to hammocks, are underway throughout Wichita State's campus. Their goal is give people reasons to explore Wichita State and linger in their favorite spots.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.
