May 6, 2021 -- In 2019, Trevor Cumpston — then just a high school senior at Aurora High School in Aurora, Nebraska — was awarded the prestigious Clay Barton Scholarship at Wichita State. May 6, 2021 -- The Kansas Board of Regents has appointed Dr. Richard Muma as the 15th president of Wichita State University. Muma is currently interim president at Wichita State.
May 5, 2021 - The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University is adding three online majors to its degree program. International business, marketing and accounting degrees will be fully online degrees taught by the same Barton School professors who teach in-person business classes. Wichita State offers real-time and asynchronous online classes.
