A series of podcasts demonstrates how the Shockers are dealing with these circumstances. From coaches such as Keitha Adams (basketball) and Steve Rainbolt (track and field) to Ryleigh Buck (softball), Jack Sigrist (baseball) and Dawson Lewis (golf), the Shockers are using many tactics to stay positive.

Feb. 27, 2020 -- Inneke Vargas, a senior studying psychology with a minor in criminal justice, returned to Wichita State University after working in various industries. She found psychology after realizing the stigmas found in minorities. Through her research she hopes to make an impact on those affected my mental illness.

Feb. 12, 2020 -- Wichita State University Police Department has over 30 commissioned officer and 18 support staff members. WSUPD offers many resources  across campus which help protect and keep students, faculty and staff safe.

Feb. 4, 2020 - Three Wichita State bowlers earned a spot on Junior Team USA, an honor that carries a boost of confidence and the thrill of representing their country. T.J. Rock, Alec Keplinger and Briley Haugh will attend training camp this summer in Arlington, Texas.

Jan. 23, 2020 - Wichita State graduate Marcus Wright used his applied learning experiences at the student newspaper and with the athletic department to start his career in digital media. After a season with MLB Advanced Media, he returned to Wichita State and works on photo and video for the athletic department.

Jan. 16, 2020 -- The Wichita State University Police Department has been named as one of the Top 25 programs in the country for its focus on safety.

Dec. 19, 2019 -- Eduardo Castillo won't let anything stop him from being successful. Even though having a speech impediment can make it more difficult to communicate, Eduardo has found a channel that best suits him. By telling his story through video, Eduardo feels like he can finally say what he wants to. Congratulations to Eduardo Castillo for being one of more than 1,100 students who were eligible to graduate this fall.

Dec. 12, 2019 -- Stella Yang has served in many roles on campus since she enrolled in 2016, including business senator and treasurer of Student Government Association, as well as vice president of Asian Student Conference.

Dec. 11, 2019 -- Noah and Shauna Holloway are education majors in the Teacher Apprentice Program at Wichita State. They are parents of two who took classes while teaching full-time. They earned their degrees with help from family and by working with professors when life intervened.

Dec. 11, 2019 -- In nine months, interim president Andy Tompkins impressed almost everyone by putting a full-time effort into a temporary job, walking the campus almost every morning, touring every building, learning names and backgrounds and using his avuncular personality to put people at ease during a time of transition at Wichita State University.

Dec. 11, 2019 -- Wichita State senior Gavrilla Arya excelled as a biological sciences major and helped the golf team to the 2016 NCAA regional. A native of Indonesia, Arya earned academic All-American honors four times.

Dec. 10, 2019 -- During Sydney's time at Wichita State she took courses that influenced her experiences and career path. She's loved her time on campus and appreciates all the opportunities she's lucked into.
