June 19, 2019 -- Wichita State University has modified its tuition request to the Kansas Board of Regents, asking to hold all tuition rates flat for the 2019-20 academic year – a 0.0% increase for undergraduate / graduate and resident / non-resident students. The Kansas Board of Regents approved the tuition increase today (Wednesday, June 19).

May 15, 2019 -- Wichita State University is requesting approval for a 1% tuition increase, which would be WSU’s lowest tuition percentage increase in at least 30 years. The increase amounts to $34 more a semester for an undergraduate taking 15 hours of courses, paying in-state tuition.

The couple, both from Nigeria, have been dating since – until this spring, when Opeyemi popped the question at the same spot he first met her nine years ago.

April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State unveiled a Multicultural Greek Council Quad on campus Friday, April 26. The purpose of the quad is to provide a visible space on campus for WSU's culturally based and National Pan-Hellenic Council Greek chapters.

April 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University will soon start the first Muslim Greek organization in the state of Kansas. Starting this summer, Mu Delta Alpha Sorority Inc., started in 2014 at the University of Dallas, will expand to WSU.

April 15, 2019 -- Brady Hatter sees the university campus as a giant garden. And every garden, he says, is a potential gallery in need of art. This Earth Day, Hatter will make his latest artistic contribution to the Wichita State canvas when his Earth Pod west of the Woodman Alumni Center is dedicated as part of the Earth Day Picnic at the Pod from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22.

March 22, 2019 - Once again, Wichita State has been named the No.1 transfer destination from Kansas community colleges to public state universities. Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) recently released its annual Transfer Feedback Report, announcing that WSU remains the No. 1 transfer destination for eight years in a row.

March 19, 2019 -- Fifteen Kansas high school seniors have been named as part of the newest class of Rudd Scholars, each receiving a 4-year scholarship to attend Wichita State University.
