March 3, 2020 -- In support of their shared goals, Wichita State University and Wichita Public Schools have expanded a partnership to create a stronger system of support for African American and Hispanic students who want to pursue post-secondary education.

Feb. 7, 2020 -- Austin Rea, a senior from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas, has won the 2020 Wichita State University Clay Barton Scholarship.
Feb. 5, 2019 -- Bryant Lewis from Olathe Kansas received the Linwood Sexton Endowed Scholarship in 2019. The full-ride scholarship allowed him to pursue his dream of attending WSU.

After a season with MLB Advanced Media, he returned to Wichita State and works on photo and video for the athletic department.
