July 24, 2019 -- It’s easy to take the free t-shirts, halftime performances and musical chairs on the Charles Koch Arena basketball court for granted. But, during every Shocker Athletics game, a team of student marketing and game operations interns follows a carefully choreographed plan to make sure fans have a good time in between each play.

June 19, 2019 - Cayleigh Beshears, a recent graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, has let her circumstances guide her, but never define her.

May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

Feb. 26, 2019 -- Two Wichita State Public Health Sciences faculty members are focusing their research on health equity for women in Kansas. The researchers have been approved for a $250,000 Engagement Award for their project “Women Involved Network (WIN for Kansas): Community Collaboration to Create Health Equity.”

Jan. 28 2019 -- RJ Clark is a graduate student at Wichita State and is one out of six WSU students accepted last year into Stanford’s prestigious University Innovation Fellow (UIF) program.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.

Dec. 4, 2018 - WSU School of Nursing instructor Richard Nold spent two weeks in North Carolina earlier this fall providing medical assistance to victims of Hurricane Florence.

Nov. 20, 2018 -- Student-athlete Tabitha Brown, a member of Wichita State's volleyball team, knows how to strike a balance between academics and athletics.
