May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 26, 2019 -- The May Day Pop-Up Picnic will take place from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, north of the Rhatigan Student Center on the WSU campus.

March 16, 2019 -- The Help Hangar partnership at Textron Aviation shows how Wichita State’s applied learning model works for students and industry. The Help Hangar was introduced in 2017 as a service to assist employees with a variety of IT-related issues. Instead of explaining your issue over the phone, an on-site Help Hangar representative meets with you directly to diagnose the issue, resolve it in the room, or puts you in touch with the correct support team to help you with your issue.

March 7, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “The Theory of Relativity”, the musical (rated PG).

Jan. 17, 2019 -- 2018 Wichita State alumnus Brock Milford has won the prestigious FAA Centers of Excellence DOT Secretary of Transportation Student RAISE Award.

Dec. 20, 2018 -- On Dec. 16, Wichita State University students walked across the stage in Charles Koch Arena for their graduation ceremony.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.

Sept. 28, 2018 - Megan Gall, a senior majoring in art history, spent the summer as an intern at the Wichita Art Museum.

Sept. 20, 2018 -- WSU graduate Julius Thomas III is touring cross country with the Broadway hit show “Hamilton: The Musical.”

Sept. 19, 2018 -- The Kanbee figures, in multiple colors, appear on campus at the invitation of the university. Their appearance is one of several steps designed to make Wichita State a destination beyond its typical hours – perhaps for activities such as a scavenger hunt to record Kanbee's work.
