May 15, 2019 -- Some of Rexy Que's proudest moments at Wichita State involve the progress they made to help campus improve the experience of LGBTQ students. Now as they prepare to move on from WSU, Rexy is ready to continue taking on new challenges after they graduate.

May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

March 18, 2019 -- In newly released national rankings of universities offering a Ph.D. in engineering, the College of Engineering at Wichita State University is ranked in the top 100 engineering graduate programs, one of only two institutions from the state of Kansas to make the list.

Jan. 28 2019 -- RJ Clark is a graduate student at Wichita State and is one out of six WSU students accepted last year into Stanford’s prestigious University Innovation Fellow (UIF) program.

Jan. 2 2019 -- Maggie Brown is a sophomore aerospace engineer major and is one of a only six Wichita State students chosen as a University Innovation Fellow. 

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.

December 6, 2018-- First generation student Ana Lopez found that determination and passion trumped uncertainty every time.

Nov. 20, 2018 -- Student-athlete Tabitha Brown, a member of Wichita State's volleyball team, knows how to strike a balance between academics and athletics.

Nov. 2, 2018 -- Jessica Aldrich, a graduate student at Wichita State University, is leading the way in bringing StartUp Grind U to WSU. StartUp Grind is a global startup company designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs.

Oct. 31, 2018 -- Wichita State student Suzie Wright, a social work major, had the opportunity to work with children through an applied learning experience at the Wichita State Child Development Center.
