Together with the City of Wichita, Wichita State has built a strong and symbiotic partnership. April 14, 2020 -- Emerging Artists is an annual showcase of work by many of the best students in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries. The March 14 event was canceled due to the novel Coronavirus. The group held a virtual awards ceremony through Facebook to celebrate the students' accomplishments.

April 13, 2020 - Wichita State University and Kansas State University will launch a dual-degree program that will give students the opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science from the College of Health and Human Sciences at K-State and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the College of Health Professions at WSU. This is the first and only program of its kind in Kansas.

March 31, 2020 -- As many Wichita State University students struggle with ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic, the WSU Foundation has created a new fund to help them overcome financial hardships and remain focused on their education.

March 9, 2020 -- The Rudd Foundation is proud to announce its third class of Rudd Scholars who will each receive a 4-year college scholarship to attend either Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University or Wichita State University.

Feb. 24, 2020 -- Five high school seniors were named Doris and Ralph Klose Scholars as part of the Klose Scholars Day at Wichita State University.
