July 30, 2019 - On June 23, Wichita State welcomed 40 high school students from across the country for Envision’s week-long Level Up conference. Envision, an organization that promotes advocacy and independence for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, has held its annual high school conference at Wichita State for the past several years.
July 18, 2019 -- Five place-making projects, ranging from the Clinton Hall steps to the Ablah Library to hammocks, are underway throughout Wichita State's campus. Their goal is give people reasons to explore Wichita State and linger in their favorite spots.

May 2, 2019 -- Wichita State's Multicultural Greek Council held the 10th annual Shock the Yard Step Show, a fun and interactive event for the WSU and local community.
May 1, 2019 -- In January 2010, Wichita state student Opeyemi Ajaiyeoba met fellow student Ifey Ogunyomi at Brennan Hall 3, at the time a campus residence hall. The couple, both from Nigeria, have been dating since – until this spring, when Opeyemi popped the question at the same spot he first met her nine years ago.
April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State unveiled a Multicultural Greek Council Quad on campus Friday, April 26. The purpose of the quad is to provide a visible space on campus for WSU's culturally based and National Pan-Hellenic Council Greek chapters.
April 26, 2019 -- The May Day Pop-Up Picnic will take place from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, north of the Rhatigan Student Center on the WSU campus.
