April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State unveiled a Multicultural Greek Council Quad on campus Friday, April 26. The purpose of the quad is to provide a visible space on campus for WSU's culturally based and National Pan-Hellenic Council Greek chapters.

April 26, 2019 -- The May Day Pop-Up Picnic will take place from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, north of the Rhatigan Student Center on the WSU campus.

April 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University will soon start the first Muslim Greek organization in the state of Kansas. Starting this summer, Mu Delta Alpha Sorority Inc., started in 2014 at the University of Dallas, will expand to WSU.

April 18, 2019 -- Wichita State University has partnered with the Kansas National Guard and Cadet Command Army ROTC to begin offering a Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

March 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University has been named to CollegeNET Inc.’s list of Social Mobility Innovators for 2019. Making the list means WSU has a proven track record of successfully enrolling students from low-income backgrounds and graduating them into promising careers.

March 18, 2019 -- In newly released national rankings of universities offering a Ph.D. in engineering, the College of Engineering at Wichita State University is ranked in the top 100 engineering graduate programs, one of only two institutions from the state of Kansas to make the list.

March 7, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “The Theory of Relativity”, the musical (rated PG).

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.

Nov. 20, 2018 -- Student-athlete Tabitha Brown, a member of Wichita State's volleyball team, knows how to strike a balance between academics and athletics.
