May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State alumnus Chris Rempe graduated just seven years ago, but is already making an impact on WSU and local industry.

Feb. 26, 2019 -- Two Wichita State Public Health Sciences faculty members are focusing their research on health equity for women in Kansas. The researchers have been approved for a $250,000 Engagement Award for their project “Women Involved Network (WIN for Kansas): Community Collaboration to Create Health Equity.”

Jan. 28 2019 -- RJ Clark is a graduate student at Wichita State and is one out of six WSU students accepted last year into Stanford’s prestigious University Innovation Fellow (UIF) program.

Jan. 17, 2019 -- 2018 Wichita State alumnus Brock Milford has won the prestigious FAA Centers of Excellence DOT Secretary of Transportation Student RAISE Award.

Jan. 2 2019 -- Maggie Brown is a sophomore aerospace engineer major and is one of a only six Wichita State students chosen as a University Innovation Fellow. 

Dec. 20, 2018 -- On Dec. 16, Wichita State University students walked across the stage in Charles Koch Arena for their graduation ceremony.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.

December 6, 2018-- First generation student Ana Lopez found that determination and passion trumped uncertainty every time.

Dec. 4, 2018 - WSU School of Nursing instructor Richard Nold spent two weeks in North Carolina earlier this fall providing medical assistance to victims of Hurricane Florence.

Nov. 27, 2018 -- Despite the wintry weather, students planted new “flowers” on campus this week as part of the Wulip Garden placemaking initiative aimed at creating a unique and inviting environment for campus visitors.

Nov. 7, 2018 -- Wichita State University is continuing to expand its appeal outside of the Wichita area by now offering in-state tuition to students living in several additional metropolitan areas in the Midwest. Now even more students will have the opportunity to enroll in the high-quality academic programs at Wichita State for an affordable price.
