March 19, 2019 -- Registration is now open for Wichita State’s “Design, Build, Code” engineering summer camps. This year, the College of Engineering is hosting 21 camps, a record number, with new offerings for younger children and new camps that allow campers to design, build and code their own inventions, drones, robots and mini-computers.

The Help Hangar was introduced in 2017 as a service to assist employees with a variety of IT-related issues. Instead of explaining your issue over the phone, an on-site Help Hangar representative meets with you directly to diagnose the issue, resolve it in the room, or puts you in touch with the correct support team to help you with your issue.
March 8, 2019 -- Having direct access to students’ talent and skills is a huge part of why Airbus Americas moved to the Wichita State campus two years ago. One of those opportunities for collaboration played out perfectly this winter when Airbus officials in the research and technology department needed a last-minute artistic rendering for an airplane seat under development.
March 5, 2019 -- Wichita State University has been awarded $4.2 million dollars in funding from the U.S. Department of Education to implement GEAR UP in Haysville school district USD 216 through 2025. Every student in 6th and 7th grade will benefit from GEAR UP’s college prep resources.
Feb. 26, 2019 -- Two Wichita State Public Health Sciences faculty members are focusing their research on health equity for women in Kansas. The researchers have been approved for a $250,000 Engagement Award for their project “Women Involved Network (WIN for Kansas): Community Collaboration to Create Health Equity.”
Feb. 26, 2019 -- Remi Chou, an assistant professor in electrical engineering and computer science at Wichita State, has received a two-year, $156,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for research to ensure secure transfer of confidential information over wireless networks.
Feb. 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s College of Engineering has named the latest group of high school seniors to be awarded Wallace Scholarships worth $342,000.
