April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 17, 2019 -- Khyati Mahavadia, from Ahmedabad, India, moved to Dallas in 2015. She considered a university in Texas before deciding Wichita State’s reputation and the applied learning opportunities connected with Wichita’s industry offered her the best position.

April 15, 2019 -- Brady Hatter sees the university campus as a giant garden. And every garden, he says, is a potential gallery in need of art. This Earth Day, Hatter will make his latest artistic contribution to the Wichita State canvas when his Earth Pod west of the Woodman Alumni Center is dedicated as part of the Earth Day Picnic at the Pod from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22.

April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

March 25, 2019 -- Tammy Dorsey graduated from Wichita State University with a biomedical engineering degree and is studying in the Master of Innovation Design program.

March 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University has been named to CollegeNET Inc.’s list of Social Mobility Innovators for 2019. Making the list means WSU has a proven track record of successfully enrolling students from low-income backgrounds and graduating them into promising careers.

March 19, 2019 -- Seniors from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and Andover Central High School have been chosen for the Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship at Wichita State University.

March 14, 2019 -- To honor Women’s History Month, WSU Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurship are highlighting influential WSU women who have made a difference in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. This week's feature is MID student Maggie Koops.

March 8, 2019 -- Having direct access to students’ talent and skills is a huge part of why Airbus Americas moved to the Wichita State campus two years ago. One of those opportunities for collaboration played out perfectly this winter when Airbus officials in the research and technology department needed a last-minute artistic rendering for an airplane seat under development.

March 7, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “The Theory of Relativity”, the musical (rated PG).

Jan. 17, 2019 -- 2018 Wichita State alumnus Brock Milford has won the prestigious FAA Centers of Excellence DOT Secretary of Transportation Student RAISE Award.

Dec. 20, 2018 -- On Dec. 16, Wichita State University students walked across the stage in Charles Koch Arena for their graduation ceremony.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.
