June 12, 2018 - Through a new initiative supported by the Kansas Board of Regents, students wanting to return and finish their degree at Wichita State now have an easier road.

May 17, 2018 -- Abdul-Mannaan Giles was selected out of 400 national entries to present his study about diagnosing early-stage Alzheimer's to members of Congress on Capitol Hill. He also presented his research project regarding aerobic exercise in early-stage Alzheimer's patients at the Harvard University National Collegiate Research Conference.

May 16, 2018 - Wichita oil producer Wayne Woolsey and his wife, Kay, have committed $10 million to build a new home for the WSU's Barton School of Business. The couple also will donate $2 million to the WSU Geology Department.

April 19, 2018 - Wichita State University physics professor Nickolas Solomey won one of NASA's coveted Innovation and Advanced Concept Awards (NIAC) for his research to create a neutrino detector for close sun orbit.
