Gianluca Gabriele

July 6, 2021 - Gianluca Gabriele, 17, is an incoming freshman who plans to major in biomedical engineering at Wichita State University. Rowing is his passion, and he will spend the summer under consideration for both the 2024 summer Paralympic and Olympic training teams for the United States. When he returns to Wichita State later this summer, he will join the Shockers crew team.

May 14, 2021 — In December, 2017 Wichita State graduate Max Runyon created Literal Larry, a viral parody account on Twitter (@ImLiteralLarry1), which led him to land a remote role as a creative strategist with 180 New York.

Feb. 22, 2021 – When we last spoke to Wichita State alumna and 2020 graduate Jade Mursch, her internship had been paused due to COVID-19. After being on hold for a month, Mursch’s internship was ultimately cut short. After months of uncertainty, Mursch secured a new full-time role.

Feb. 2, 2021 - Hanna Chastain, a junior biology major from Wichita, will present virtually at the National Council on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) conference in April. Her presentation is titled “Development of PARROT, a Wireless Orofacial Myofunctional Imaging and Pressure Mapping Device.”
