Nov. 16, 2020 – LaShaya Lawrie chose Wichita State because it’s close to home. While pursuing her Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering, LaShaya became involved on campus. LaShaya is one of more than 1,200 students eligible for fall 2020 graduation.

Feb. 20, 2020 -- Dane Laughlin started working for INVISTA, Koch Industries’ textiles, polymers, fiber and resin producer, while he was a biomedical engineering student at Wichita State and got hired on full time after graduating in May 2019.
Jan. 31, 2020 -- Wichita State University has selected the 2020 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend Wichita State University in August 2020.
Dec. 19, 2019 -- Those interested in a career in biomedical engineering just received another degree option that’s closer to home. Wichita State University and Butler Community College have joined forces to create a 2+2 agreement that articulates a complete four-year plan of study in biomedical engineering.
Dec. 18, 2019 -- Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design has named three Wichita State students as University Innovation Fellows. Jacob Burns, Molly Carlson and Savannah Redfern will join more than 2,000 Fellows at 267 institutions worldwide.
