Wichita State Community Garden — A sustainability initiative

To promote improved sustainability on campus and recognize the educational, cultural, economic, and environmental benefits of sustainability, WSU is committed to engaging and empowering students, faculty, and staff to value, develop, adopt and promote sustainable practices.

WSU defines sustainability as using resources wisely and engaging in actions that are environmentally, socially and financially responsible, and benefit present and future generations.

The Wichita State Community Garden is a project of the Student Government Association, the President's Office and the Wichita State Green Group, a student organization dedicated to promoting sustainability on campus through education, advocacy, and service. The Community Garden is managed by the Student Government Association, Green Group and Student Engagement & Belonging. The Garden supports the Kiah Duggins Shocker Support Locker
