The Master of Education in Learning and Instructional Design (MEd LID) program will enable you to excel and innovate in your instructional design leadership and educational practices. This dynamic 30-credit-hour program is designed for K-12 educators, instructional designers, professional developers, and corporate trainers looking to advance their careers.

The program faculty will facilitate your critical thinking, problem-solving, and evidence-based design skills to create effective learning experiences. The flexible curriculum of this program will allow you to customize your path based on your passion, expertise, and career goals. Admission Requirements

In addition to the Graduate School admission requirements, students seeking the Master of Education in Learning and Instructional Design must meet the following criteria.

  1. Graduate from the WSU teacher education program with a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the last 60 credit hours; OR
  2. Graduate from an accredited program with a minimum 3.000 GPA in the last 60 credit hours; OR
  3. Provide alternative evidence that documents academic aptitude; OR
  4. Provide evidence of involvement in teaching, training, and/or program design or recommendation by the graduate program committee.
