Dr. Sue Abdinnour, BOAL Director works with other colleagues in the Barton School of Business and colleagues from
other colleges and labs inside and outside WSU to complete projects for clients. She
also works with undergraduate and graduate students who want to work on applied projects
and gain experience in the real world. As soon as a client contacts the lab, Sue sets
up a time to meet with them and assess their needs.
Dr. Abdinnour is the Omer Professor of Operations Management and Kansas Faculty of Distinction in the W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management and Decision Sciences from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1994 and her M.Sc. in Operations Research from University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Abdinnour has over 30 years of experience in:
- Teaching undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA
- Training professionals from different industries in business
- Presenting at several national and international conferences
- Delivering several seminars to businesses, groups, and organizations
- Doing research and publishing in elite academic and practitioner journals
- Consulting on various operations, supply chain, and information technology topics
