
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) within the College of Engineering at WSU offers two undergraduate programs and two graduate programs, as well as eight graduate certificates. Students in our programs conduct state-of-the-art work in communications and signal processing, computer systems and architecture, control systems, and energy and power systems.

Many students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering cite our Innovation Campus and paid applied learning opportunities with shaping their academic and professional journeys. The Innovation Campus is home to more than 50 companies and dozens of state-of-the-art labs and facilities where students gain real-world experience alongside their studies. The campus hosts major employers including Airbus, Textron Aviation, Deloitte’s Smart Factory and more, all of which employ WSU students in paid applied learning roles just steps from their classrooms.
