2022 Secret Course
Not a scary course, just a secret one.
For our 22nd year we have chosen to add a secret course. This course will be required for all Expert level teams. (Intermediate level teams may choose to run this course as one of their three courses.)
While a secret course sounds scary, this is a course that can be conquered by Expert and Intermediate level teams. Many Beginner and Beginner II level teams could also score well.
Important points to remember:
- All teams will see the course for the first time on Competition Day, March 5th. No photos or drawings will be released.
- The skills you have practiced for your other courses will work on this course.
- While achieving 1000 points may take some work, all teams should do well with little difficulty.
Description:
For full points on the 2022 Secret course, the team’s robot will be required to transport a 1” x 1” wooden cube around the course.
Prior to the start of the run, the team may place the block anywhere in the designated start area, as long as the block is in contact with the course.
The robot will then be required to transport the wooden cube around the course and place it in a recessed area at the end of the course.
