  1. Meeting was called to order at 3:30 by Chris Stone, Senate President
  2. Rhonda Williams served as Secretary and Mathew Muether served as Parliamentarian.
  3.  Approval of the minutes: April 29, 2024.
  4.  No informal statements.
  5. Teams meeting recording started.
  6. Moment of silence for deceased faculty.
  7.  President’s Report
    • Workload Policy - See KBOR Workload Policy draft for details. Faculty encouraged to complete the workload policy survey sent by Faculty Senate Executive Committee and Faculty Affairs Committee.
    • KBOR Post-tenure Review – Current draft policy adds committee review requirement every 5 years. KBOR goal to complete the policy by December 2025, then cascade down to universities to update individual policies as needed.
  8. New Business
    • Faculty Senate recommends motion to update the electorate in Policy 4.13, Chair Policy and Procedures. Approved by VOTE - show of hands in-person and poll for faculty on Teams.
  9. Next General Faculty meeting is April 27, 2026, at 3:30 in Woolsey Hall 110A and Microsoft Teams
