Dr. Carolyn Shaw

Carolyn Shaw is a professor in the Department of Political Science. She served as a faculty senator from 2014-2018 and as senate president for 2017-18 academic year. She has served on university committees including T&P, Rules Committee, and Budget and Planning. She also served as department chair for 12 years and AVP for strategic enrollment management for 4 years.
Mehmet Barut

Mehmet Barut is a professor in the Department of Finance, Real Estate and Decision Sciences. Mehmet was the senate president for 2014-2015 academic year. He has served in university committees such as T&P, Rules Committee, Budget and Planning Commmittee, Faculty Support Committee, etc.
Dr. Nils Hakansson

Nils Hakansson is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and adjunct professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. He has served as a faculty senator from 2018 to 2022. Nils has served on the university ADA Internal Compliance Team and the Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Stephanie Nicks is a teaching professor in the College of Health Professions, School of Nursing. Nicks has served as a faculty senator 2018-2020 & 2022-current.
