We currently offer four Concentrations:

  • Analytic Reasoning
  • Ethics
  • Pre-Law 
  • World Philosophy  

We also provide a robust education in history of philosophy, Asian philosophy, and philosophy of STEM.

Kansas high school students seriously considering a law career can get a year’s head start at WSU with the LEAD (Legal Education Accelerated Degree) program, which provides a pathway to the University of Kansas School of Law.

WSU Philosophy major Courtney Minor has accepted an offer from UCLA, with 7 years of funding, for graduate study in philosophy.

Dr. Sterrett reviewed a new book on an early twentieth-century researcher in psychology who studied the use of schema in memory and cognition, The Constructive Mind: Bartlett's Psychology in Reproduction.
