May 2018: Congratulations to Joseph Karnes for being named ACS Wichita Section Outstanding Graduating Senior from Wichita State!! Joe also won the Physical Chemistry Award. Yay!

March 2018: Chandana has started a postdoctoral position at NIEHS in North Carolina.

December 2017: Congratulations, Dr. Kasireddy and Dr. Dahanayake!! Chandana and Jayangika defended their doctoral dissertations with aplomb!

August 2017: We've got more funding! We will be working on "Unraveling Connections Among Biomolecular Structure, Interfacial Solvent Dynamics, and Conformational Dynamics" with National Science Foundation funding, with our Co-PI, Vinh Nguyen at Virginia Tech. We also will be working on "Structure-dynamics of Cofactor Binding in Human Aldose Reductases", with funding from a Pilot Project from the COBRE Protein Structure Function Center.

June 2017: Congratulations to Jon Ellis for being awarded a summer internship through the University of Wisconsin-Madison, to work at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis.

May 2017: Congratulations to undergraduate extraordinaire Olivia Hull for being awarded the Rosalee and Alvin Sarachek Award for Scholarly Excellence in the Natural Sciences, which is the highest distinction for a graduating science student!

April 2017: Congratulations to undergraduate researcher Derek Hildebrandt, who has been named a K-INBRE Bioinformatics Scholar for work on human aldose reductase enzymes in our lab! Congratulations to Joseph Karnes, who has been named a K-INBRE STAR Trainee for work calculating fluorine chemical shifts in protein environments!

February 2017: We host the Kansas Physical Chemistry Symposium at Wichita State. What a great day! Thanks to all of the presenters and attendees for the stimulating conversations and presentations.

January 2017: Jon is admitted to University of Wisconsin-Madison for doctoral studies in chemistry! Congratulations, Jon!

September 2016: Olivia is granted a K-INBRE Undergraduate Research Award!
