Kansas Association of Historians
Dear Colleagues,
The 2020 Kansas Association of Historians conference schedule for March 20-21 in Pittsburg has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. The KAH board did not make this decision lightly, but given the rapidly evolving situation surrounding the pandemic, the closure of numerous institutions, and the recommendation for social distancing this is the most prudent course.
For those of you who booked lodging in Pittsburg, please contact the hotel as soon as possible to cancel your reservation.
We will begin processing refunds of all conference registration fees as soon as is possible. We are still working out the details of how to process refunds through our online system and via paper checks for those of you who paid by check. Thanks for your patience as we work through this process.
At this point, the board has decided to hold the 2021 meeting in Pittsburg, followed by Wichita in 2022. More details will follow at a later time.
Thank you all for your support of the KAH and we hope to see all of you at the 2021 conference.
Chris Childers
KAH President
