Kellogg: The Lost Thoroughfare
Today, Kellogg evokes images of endless construction and congestion. At the end of World War II, however, it was home to a slower paced community with a vibrant business and residential district. From the energy following World War II to the happy days of the 1950s, to the construction of flyover in the 60s, Kellogg Street has been a winding road of progression. This site illustrates those businesses and places that were lost as the landscape of the city changed.
