Water Science Communications Fellowship Program

Join the Water Science Communications Fellowship: Earn a $500 Stipend and Enhance Your Career!

WSU undergraduate students can earn a $500 stipend by participating in a water science communications fellowship. The program will allow you to learn about careers in environmental science and communication, enhance your resume, and network with professionals in the community.

What is the Water Science Communications Fellowship?

The Water Science Communications Fellowship offers students the opportunity to explore careers in environmental science and communication, enhance their resumes, and connect with professionals in the field. Organized by the Environmental Finance Center at Wichita State University and supported by the Environmental Protection Agency, this program is designed to introduce college students to the wide range of career opportunities available in the water industry.

What will students do when they participate in the fellowship?

Students will attend around five to seven meetings and three exciting field trips to learn from professionals working in the water field. They will also complete a group project that includes a presentation.

Who can participate?

WSU undergrad students from all majors, including STEM fields and the humanities, are encouraged to apply! Opportunity is open to citizens of the United States, its territories, or possessions, or individuals lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residency.
