Students have been winning awards and making great memories in WSU's Model UN program for over 60 years. Through Model UN, WSU students learn about the UN, its role in world affairs, and the transformative power of diplomacy. Students take on the role of diplomats and practice critical skills, like consensus-building, collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, research and writing, and public speaking.

AMUN is an international Model UN conference held in Chicago, IL each November. The conference hosts 1,400 students, faculty and young professionals from across the United States and around the world.
NMUN is the largest international Model UN conference in the world, hosting students from across the world in New York, NY each spring. At NMUN students have the opportunity to meet with UN diplomats for country briefings and attend the conference's closing ceremony n the UN General Assembly hall.
