The Wichita State University Psychology Department is committed to conducting applied research to enhance psychological science. At our 14 dedicated research laboratories, groups and clinics, faculty members and students work side by side on projects that advance the field of psychology in real and meaningful ways.

We offer several ways to study psychology as an undergraduate student:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, offered in-person or online
  • Minor in Psychology
  • Undergraduate Certificate in Community Psychology
  • Undergraduate Certificate in Human Factors Psychology

WSU Psychology Clinic

The WSU Psychology Clinic provides a broad range of psychological services for the Wichita State community and greater metropolitan area. The clinic is staffed by faculty and student-clinicians pursuing their doctorate in clinical psychology.

Applied Psychology Research Institute

The Applied Psychology Research Institute (APRI) performs funded research associated with the Department of Psychology. The Institute also connects graduate students with researchers to provide them with applied learning experiences.
