Alce Su Voz gains $700K in grant support

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded a $375,000 grant to support Alce Su Voz ('Speak Out'), a coalition of Spanish-speaking Latinx families, interpreters, healthcare providers, community leaders and university faculty and students whose mission is to improve health equity for Spanish speakers and speakers of indigenous languages in Kansas. The Kansas Health Foundation awarded the coalition $75,000 and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment gave $250,000, bringing the total support of Alce Su Voz to $700,000.
