Join us in celebrating Wichita State!

Help us celebrate Wichita State University’s 125 Anniversary! Join other Wichita State community members, including alumni, faculty, and staff, and all other WSU supporters. Submissions will be accepted from now until October 31st.

Rehearse

• Download the music and rehearse with the practice click tracks:
  • Soprano practice track, Soprano click track
  • Alto practice track, Alto click track
  • Tenor practice track, Tenor click track
  • Bass practice track, Bass click track
• Pick strategic places to breathe and leave off consonants if breathing in the middle of a phrase.

Record

• Please wear WSU attire if you have it (or shirts of yellow, white, or black).
• Find a quiet place to record (not outside, no background noise, etc.) If recording with your phone, please record horizontally for a landscape view. Record as if you were singing to the camera instead of watching yourself on the screen.
• Use the click track (see links above) to help you record your video. While wearing headphones, you will listen to the click track while you sing your part! 
• Export as an .mp4 or .mov file. Please title it “voicepart.lastname.firstname” without any spaces. We prefer 720p resolution.

Submit

• Make sure you listen to and watch your recording before submitting to make sure the quality of both are acceptable for submission.
• Please do not add any editing (reverb, vocal transformer, autotune, etc.).
• Submit your recording using our submission form
