Poster Printing - No longer a CHP service
The Office of Technology Services no longer provides poster printing services. We recommend you submit a print order to Wichita State's Shocker Printing Solutions for any of your poster printing needs.
Web Conferencing and Video Support
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) works with the university to provide assistance with video and web conferencing. If you have questions or need support, please submit an IT/OTS help ticket at www.wichita.edu/desktoptickets
If you need immediate assistance or training using the camera to record your live classroom lecture in one of the CHP master classroom, we recommend you contact Media Resources Center at 316-978-3588.
If you would like to request a Zoom license account upgrade, Zoom Co-host, record a live event, podium, projector related support or other audio-visual related support please submit a Campus Media Services support ticket at www.wichita.edu/av
College Websites
If you have a departmental web page update, question, or concern, please notify your department's website point person.
Any department web point person can send web requests to the CHP Web Team. This person(s) can also request training and access to help update their department web pages as needed. For both cases, please email chpweb@wichita.edu.

Classroom, Lab and Instructional Support and Services
Classroom Training and Support
OTS and WSU Media Resources Center (MRC) work together to support our podium, media box, and master classrooms. Any new faculty or staff that use these classrooms will need to go through official WSU training to receive an assigned key while employed at WSU.
Classroom Training and Key Checkout - Every semester an email from Media Resources Center (MRC) is sent to CHP with available training dates and times. If a training opportunity is missed contact MRC directly at 316-978-7764. Master, Media box, and podium keys are assigned upon completion of training.
- First level help – During class time and regular business hours of operation, OTS can provide general troubleshooting support by calling 316-978-3608, stopping by the OTS office (AH 100) or submitting an IT/OTS help ticket at www.wichita.edu/desktoptickets.
- Second level help – If OTS is unable to respond to your issue, please call MRC for support at 316-978-3588.
Schedule a Computer Classroom
There are 70 computers in the Ahlberg Hall 100A classroom available for scheduling classroom exams or any other computer training needs. To schedule computer classroom usage contact Jennifer Anozie.
Student Study Lab Area
Located in Ahlberg Hall room 100 is an open computer lab with six computers available to use anytime during open lab hours, no reservation required. This lab also has a network printer, and digital scanner that students may use. Any print jobs will be charged on the student's university Paper Cut account.
Instructional and Software Support
The Office of Technology Services has an Instructional Design Specialist who is available to assist faculty and staff in using various university-support technology software. If you have any questions about the following topics related to course development, daily work functions and duties or research please submit an IT/OTS help ticket at www.wichita.edu/desktoptickets.
General support areas can include, but are not limited to:
- Blackboard Learn/Ultra - university-supported Learning Management System (LMS)
- Panopto - lecture recorder and cloud storage system
- Qualtrics - survey creation, analysis, and management tool
- MS Office Suite/Office 365 - MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive programs.
- Respondus LockDown Browser - student exam proctoring restricted browser
- Respondus Monitor - video recorded exam proctoring solution
- Respondus 4.0 Test Builder - test builder and management software
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite - limited support
- Zoom - web conferencing tool
Temporary Checkout Options
A laptop can be checked out to be used in a classroom. The laptop will only be checked out temporarily. Please return the laptop after class. Students are not allowed to check out OTS laptops.
Due to limited stock of media and computer equipment, most items can only be checked out temporarily. If we do not have any in stock you will need to wait until the next fiscal year to request checkout again. These items will be checked out on a first come, first served basis.
