The mission of the Cohen Honors College Student Council is to develop a strong sense of community and common identity among Honors students by providing opportunity and serving as a refuge to all students of the Cohen Honors College. The Council will use innovative approaches to identify and address the challenges and needs of all Honors students and serve as the voice of students through communication with the staff, faculty and Dean of the Cohen Honors College.

Selection of council members will be made by a committee comprised of Honors staff and students. Open positions include the Director of Marketing & Events and First Year Representative.

You will be notified as to whether or not you have been selected by August 27.

We plan to hold council meetings weekly on Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. for the academic year 2018-19. The student council meets at least once per semester with the faculty council to constitute the University Honors Council, usually a Thursday from 3:30-5 p.m. Are you available at these times? *
