When you're working towards your bachelor's degree and meet certain requirements, we award you your Associate of Arts degree to acknowledge your halfway point in completing your bachelor’s degree
Depending on when you last attended Wichita State, please follow the instructions that best match your situation.
Please note that official transcripts from every university or college that you have attended should be submitted directly to the Registrar’s Office before registering for class.

Although you never attended WSU before, we still have many resources available to you. Anyone who comes to WSU without being here previously cannot, unfortunately, participate in Shocker Comeback.
Shocker Comeback Scholarship
You may be eligible for the Shocker Comeback Program Scholarship! This is a one-time $1,000.00 scholarship for the fall 2024 semester if:
- You are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the fall semester
- You are enrolled by Monday, August 12th
- You are still enrolled by September 20th
- Participate in 3 success conversations (once per month during September, October, and November) with the Online & Adult Learner Specialist
*The scholarship will be distributed after September 20th. If you enroll in less than 6 credit hours during the Fall 2024 semester, the Shocker Comeback scholarship will be based on the number of hours taken. This scholarship is for students whose last semester of enrollment at WSU was in Fall 2023 or earlier.
