Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Shocker Comeback Program?

The Shocker Comeback Program is designed with you in mind! Life sometimes takes us on unexpected journeys and things get put on hold. Whether you have been gone 1-3 years or more, it’s never too late to finish what you started. Let’s join forces and ensure your comeback is not just a success, but a remarkable achievement!

What’s the benefit of finishing my degree?

Obtaining a degree is a journey of personal growth, empowerment, and unlocking a world of possibilities. Not only will you gain deeper knowledge in your field of study, but you will gain the essential skills to thrive in your personal and professional life.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau (2024), when you compare the annual salaries of high school graduates to those with a bachelor's degree, the difference is clear: individuals with a bachelor's degree tend to earn higher wages in the United States.

Earning your degree enhances your career prospects and allows you to find a career that aligns with your goals and values. When you commit to completing your degree, you are paving the way for a life filled with greater meaning, purpose and fulfillment.

Can I be awarded my associate's degree through this program?

As Shockers, we understand the hard work and dedication it takes to earn a bachelor's degree. That's why we want to celebrate your achievements along the way. When you're working towards your bachelor's degree and meet certain requirements, we award you your Associate of Arts degree to acknowledge your halfway point in completing your bachelor’s degree
