Wichita State Orientation

WSU requires undergraduate Orientation for domestic incoming freshmen, transfer students and returning or transferring adult learners. New Shocker Orientation is the last step of your transition into a full-fledged member of Shocker Nation and one that's directly connected to student success.

Transfer & Adult Learner 

Students will schedule a meeting with their college advisor. When you call to set up your appointment, let your advisor know you're a new student and need to schedule a "Shocker Connection" advising appointment. You will meet one-on-one with an advisor in the college which houses your intended major.

Undergraduate Online Learner Orientation

As part of the enrollment process, students in a fully online program must complete a virtual orientation. Your online advisor will go over the orientation process during your initial Shocker Connections appointment. You can access orientation material by logging into Blackboard within the "Online Learning" organization section.
