Food and Beverage Guide
Before addressing food or beverage needs, you must first contact UEMS to schedule the event and secure a location. After your location is confirmed we recommend speaking with our University catering provider Chartwells for your catering needs.
WSU Dining Services Catering (Chartwells)
If Chartwells is unable to meet your needs you may bring in an outside caterer as
long as they are licensed. Caterers are required to remove all food trash and clean
their space up prior to leaving. A cleaning charge may be assessed to group who booked
the space if trash remains after the event concludes.
Catering Guidelines
Catering must comply with university food and beverage policies.
All catering requests should accompany an existing space reservation. Request space
Alcohol can be served on campus by licensed providers in designated buildings on campus. View alcohol policy. Events serving alcohol must complete an alcohol request form and submit it 10 business days in advance with a certificate of insurance naming Wichita State University as named insured for approval through the General Counsel’s office.
