University Event & Meeting Services

UEMS schedules a number of facilities around campus including Woolsey Hall, Marcus Welcome Center, WSU Connect, the Digital Research and Transformation Hub, the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, other academic buildings, and all outdoor spaces.

 
RSC

RSC Events Services

RSC Events Services is responsible for reserving spaces throughout the Rhatigan Student Center as well as the Grace Memorial Chapel & the CAC Theatre.

Athletics Facilities

Shocker Athletics schedules several campus athletic facilities including Cessna, Eck and Wilkins Stadiums; Charles Koch Arena and the Student-Athlete Center.

Performance Facilities

Performance Facilities manages and oversees the College of Fine Arts performance venues including the Duerksen Fine Arts Center, Wiedemann Hall & Wilner Auditorium.

There are over 50 outdoor spaces available to rent around campus.

Featured Facilities

Woolsey Atrium

Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall is an 125,000-square-foot academic building on Wichita State University's Innovation Campus. It is the new home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business. This academic building has over 25 spaces available to rent, accommodating every size and type. Other building features include free wifi (WSU Guest), a lactation and wellness room, Cargill Cafe, Kay Woolsey Garden and Widener Patio.

The Rhatigan Student Center is the social hub of student life at Wichita State University. Located in the heart of the main campus, the center's dynamic slate of events and services keep the WSU community humming. Whether you're looking for a place to study, a place to hang out with friends, a place to eat, a place to shop, a place to relax -- or even a place to get a quick haircut -- the RSC is the place to be.

Metropolitan complex

The Hughes Metropolitan Complex is a modern, 75,000-square-foot facility located at 5015 E. 29th Street N., approximately one mile north of the University's main campus. The facility has many conference and meeting rooms available for use and for rent by the University or by the community. The Complex provides a wide array of conveniences for your next event, including at-door parking, on-site catering and audiovisual equipment rental.

Located in the heart of the campus, Wichita State Connect provides a gathering space and launchpad for preK-12 field trips to campus, mixers and events, professional development for educators, and programs that engage WSU’s academic colleges with innovation campus industry partners, admissions, college readiness programs, schools, and community organizations.

Expressive Activities on Campus

Wichita State University (University) recognizes and supports the rights of individuals and groups to engage in campus expressive activities, either within University facilities or at outdoor University venues/grounds. This includes discussion and expression of various views communicated through, but not limited to, oral, written, and/or electronic means of communication. If you are planning an expressive activity the University requires you submit a Notification of Intent Form at least 72 hours prior to your activity.
