University Event and Meeting Services

There are over 50 outdoor spaces available to rent around campus.

Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall is an 125,000-square-foot academic building on Wichita State University's Innovation Campus. It is the new home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business. This academic building has over 25 spaces available to rent, accommodating every size and type. Other building features include free wifi (WSU Guest), a lactation and wellness room, Cargill Cafe, Kay Woolsey Garden and Widener Patio.

The Marcus Welcome Center is a beautiful building located on the Northeast corner of campus just off of 21st street. Billed as the “front door” for the University, this is the welcome point for prospective students, alumni and other visitors. This 29,400-square-foot, multi-use facility is perfect for receptions, banquets, lectures and small presentations.

The Hughes Metropolitan Complex is a 75,000-square-foot facility located at 5015 E. 29th Street N., approximately one mile north of the University's main campus. The facility has many conference and meeting rooms available for use and for rent by the University or by the community. The Complex provides a wide array of conveniences for your next event, including at-door parking, on-site catering and audiovisual equipment rental.

Located in the heart of the campus, Wichita State Connect provides a gathering space and launchpad for preK-12 field trips to campus, mixers and events, professional development for educators, and programs that engage WSU’s academic colleges with innovation campus industry partners, admissions, college readiness programs, schools, and community organizations. 

The Digital Research and Transformation Hub at Wichita State University is located off of Oliver
on the Innovation Campus. With convenient parking, ample space and a gorgeous outdoor
garden, this 37,000-square-foot facility is perfect for your next event!
