Forward, Together, March 2019 -- We’re pleased that Moody’s Investors Service has revised WSU’s financial outlook to stable from negative. Vice President for Finance and Administration Werner Golling spoke at length with Moody’s lead analyst for higher education, who developed the report issued this week.

Forward, Together, March 2019 -- The Kansas Board of Regents announced today the appointment of Andy Tompkins as Interim President at Wichita State University. This will be Tompkins’ second time serving a KBOR university in this capacity, having previously been Interim President of Fort Hays State University from December 2016 to November 2017.

Forward, Together, March 2019 -- WSU has been named to CollegeNET Inc.’s list of Social Mobility Innovators for 2019. Making the list means WSU has a proven track record of successfully enrolling students from low-income backgrounds and graduating them into promising careers.

Forward, Together, March 2019 -- Chase Rawlings, a local 3rd grader, was born without a fully developed left hand. A team at WSU led by senior engineering major Chelsea Sewell created a 3D-printed robotic hand for Chase.
