October 2018 -- As announced on Oct. 1, WSU saw an increase of 1.58 percent, or 176 full-time equivalency, over last fall, and welcomed our highest new first-time-in-college class for the 3rd consecutive year. While the increase in freshmen is great news with regard to recruitment, it is equally important to retain these students as they pursue their degrees.
