The numbers from the Kansas Board of Regents are in and for the 15th year in a row, Wichita State is the top destination for Kansas college transfers from community colleges, technical colleges and other public universities. The data is conclusive, transfer students are becoming Shockers at a higher volume than any other university in the state.

By the Numbers 

In the most recent data, Wichita State is the leading transfer destination for students from across the state including:

• Butler Community College: 327 transfers 

• WSU Tech: 170 transfers 

• Hutchinson Community College: 130 transfers 

• Cowley College: 100 transfers 

• Dodge City Community College: 35 transfers 

• Pratt Community College: 23 transfers
